Every senior housing community should be able to experience the convenience and assurance of resident security and safety, real-time information, staff efficiency, and risk reduction. However, Silversphere acknowledges that not every community can afford the most current emergency call technology.

That is why this year we are awarding a free ATMOS™ Emergency Call System to one exceptional low-income non-profit senior housing community in need.

The awarded community will receive all main components, such as central equipment and wireless access points; resident devices, such as pull cords and pendants; staff devices, such as pagers and staff-reset pendants; installation; and one year of STRATOS™, our Internet-based management reporting solution free of charge.

Whether you are a fellow community, a resident, a community employee, or a member of the residential board of a community, you can nominate a community that you think deserves and could really benefit from a new emergency call system. All 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or tribe/tribally designated housing entities located in the U.S. that have a stated mission of providing housing to low-income seniors are eligible.

The giveaway recipient will be selected based on their demonstration of the importance of interconnecting housing and services in a safe and caring environment to meet the needs of lower income elderly. Applications that include specifics or stories and indications of how the business will improve and enhance resident lifestyle with the reward of this system will be given additional consideration.

We are accepting applications now through December 31, 2015, and the recipient will be announced in February. All applications must be submitted through our online application form at http://www.silversphere.com/Giveaway, and we may request a site visit before awarding the grant.

The deadline for applications is quickly approaching, so if you know a deserving low-income senior housing community, nominate them today!
